Spring 2010 Train-the-Trainer Dates Announced

Marketplace has announced its Spring 2010 Train-the-Trainers seminar will be held Sunday, April 18 through Tuesday, April 20, 2010. The seminar will be held in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The seminar objective is to provide the instructors with an in-depth understanding of the Marketplace simulator, as well as ideas on how it can be most effectively built into the marketing or business course. ILS holds this free training seminar for university instructors twice a year.

Strategic E-Commerce Live Available Now

ILS has released a new level of its Marketplace Live simulation – Strategic E-Commerce. This new level is in the “Play Against Peers” version and will be available in beta through December 31, 2009.

The Strategic E-Commerce level targets e-commerce courses. Participants learn about the differences and tradeoffs between the traditional and web sales channel, and between traditional marketing and web marketing. The decision content also includes product development, human resource management, fundamentals of finance, accounting and operations.
